(WKYT) – The Republican nominee in the race for Kentucky’s Sixth Congressional District has quietly rebranded his campaign.
NBC was the first to report that Dr. Ralph Alvarado’s campaign website no longer features a photo of him standing next to President Donald Trump, and that references to him as a leader in the America First movement have been removed.
Now Alvarado’s website describes him as an independent candidate who vows to work with both parties in Washington with a special focus on healthcare.
Trump endorsed Alvarado before May’s primary election.
He will face Democrat Zach Dembo in November’s general election.
