(WKYT) – A Nelson County man was arrested on Wednesday after the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office says that he danced in a local road and they found marijuana plants growing at his home.
Deputies were dispatched to Stringtown Road around 8:19 p.m. for reports of a man dancing in the roadway.
Deputies found Jonathan Smith at a nearby residence, and while speaking to him, they said they found marijuana plants growing in the yard.
A search of the property yielded 13 total plants.
Smith was arrested and taken to the Nelson County Jail.
He is charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, cultivating marijuana — five plants or more and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.
