(WKYT) – A Berea man’s lottery dreams have come true.
Josh Anglin was playing the Kentucky Lottery online while he waited for his father and son to arrive at a carpentry job in Louisville.
His wait quickly turned into the moment of a lifetime.
“I screamed and just stared at my phone. Like, this can’t be real,” Anglin said.
Anglin’s son and father had a hard time believing his good fortune initially, but joined him on his journey to claim his $413,300 prize – $290,201.18 after taxes.
When asked what his plans were for his winnings, Anglin said he plans to build a home.
“I’m gonna build a house. I’ve been building houses for everyone else; it’s time to build my own,” he said.
