Pulaski County Woman Arrested on Drug Charges

The incident started when Detectives with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic’s Division and Deputies from the Patrol Division were conducting surveillance on a residence in Science Hill. Detectives had numerous complaints the occupants of the residence were trafficking in methamphetamine. Detectives observed a car pulling into the residence, observed a female, Toni Gray, that had warrants for her arrest. Detectives conducted a stop of the vehicle and confirmed Gray was the driver.

Detectives developed enough information, during their investigation to apply for a search warrant for the residence. Detectives received the search warrant and went to the residence to execute it. Upon searching the residence, Detectives located a small amount of methamphetamine, digital scales, and baggies, in a bedroom shared by Gray and her boyfriend.

Gray was taken into custody and transported to the Pulaski County Detention Center. While at the Detention Center, Gray was scanned by the body scanner, and it was discovered Gray had additional drugs on her person. Gray turned over approximately 4.4 grams of methamphetamine, multiple baggies, and two pills, she had hidden, to Deputy Noah Dishman.

Toni Gray, age 35, of Somerset was arrested and charged with the following:

• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd Offense (methamphetamine) over 2 grams

• Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess

• Promoting Contraband – 1st Degree

The investigation is on-going by Detective Tan Hudson of the Narcotics Division with additional suspects and more charges are expected. Detective Hudson was assisted on scene by Detective Trent Massey, Lieutenant Richard Smith, Deputy Noah Dishman, Deputy Daniel Drury, and Deputy Grant Bryant.
