(WKYT) – A Monticello man was arrested in connection with a burglary at The Wash House laundromat.
Jacob Coffey, 32, was arrested after allegedly stealing a coin machine from the laundromat on Thursday, Jan. 1, according to the Monticello Police Department.
Police said they had received tips from the public identifying Coffey as the burglar.
Officers also got a 911 call reporting that Coffey was exchanging coins for cash at a Walmart Coinstar. Coffey was then found by police in a Little Caesar’s drive-thru.
Coffey is charged with burglary in the third degree, possession of burglary tools and criminal mischief, police said.
