Blood Drive Happening Next Tuesday

– Giving blood to Kentucky Blood Center saves local lives throughout the year, but Kentucky fans who donate during Big Blue Crush have extra incentive: a chance to beat rival Tennessee.

The 38th annual Big Blue Crush is Nov. 17–21, and your community will play a significant role in the competition with an upcoming blood drive. The weeklong blood battle pits KBC vs. MEDIC Regional Blood Center in Tennessee to see which fan base can collect the most blood.

The winner gets bragging rights and a trophy, but more importantly, the motivated fanbases provide the blood supply with a critical boost for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Big Blue Crush shirt, a collector’s item for many donors, is a heathered white long-sleeve with a retro logo. All donors who give blood at this upcoming drive will receive one (while supplies last).
