Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron reports the following arrests.
Shane Savage of Monticello, KY. was arrested at approximately 1:28 pm on August 27, 2025, at a residence located on Bertram Street by Deputies James Barnett and Casey Lang. Savage was served and arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and persistent felony offender-1st degree. Savage was served and arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to pay or show cause on the underlying charge of non-payment of court costs, fees or fines and also on 3 Pulaski County District Court Warrants of Arrest for failure to appear for a Motion Hour, failure to appear for a Diversion Completion Hearing and failure to pay on the underlying charge of failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance.
Haley Sharpe of Monticello, KY. was arrested on August 27, 2025, at approximately 8:36 pm by Deputy Nick Bertram at a residence located on Green Road. Sharpe was arrested after an investigation by Deputy Bertram where he obtained a Wayne County District Court Complaint Warrant of Arrest for Sharpe on the charges of trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine) and endangering the welfare of an incompetent person.
Savage and Sharpe were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
