At around 11:45 PM on Friday July 25, the Wayne County Rescue Squad was paged out for a boat that had crashed into the bank just before Conley Bottom. The squad responded 3 boats and transported EMS personnel to the scene of the accident. All occupants were transported back to Conley with EMS and released with no apparent life threatening injuries. Involved agencies included Wayne County EMS, KY Dept. Of Fish and Wildlife, the Monticello/Wayne County Rescue Squad, and Monticello Wayne County 911.
The Monticello Wayne County 911 paged the Rescue Squad out approximately 2 AM on Sunday July 27th for a possible overdose at the strip mines off Marvin Jones Road. Squad members responded, administered Narcan and assisted Wayne County EMS in getting the patient to the hospital. Prayers for a speedy recovery.
