Drug Trafficking Arrest Made by Sheriff’s Department

According to Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron, a Wayne County man has been arrested for drug trafficking.
On July 25, 2025, at approximately 8:30 pm, Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched by the Wayne County 911 Dispatch Center to a residence located on Glen Oak Drive after drug paraphernalia items were found inside the residence. Upon the Deputy’s arrival, the homeowner gave consent for a search. During the search, Deputies located and seized approximately 17 grams of a crystal substance, which field tested as being methamphetamine.
Deputy Nick Bertram then charged and arrested Jordan UpChurch of Monticello, KY., for trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine).
While processing paperwork at the Sheriff’s Office, the crystal substance tested positive as methamphetamine using the Tru-Narc Narcotic Testing Instrument, with a total weight of 17.06 grams.
UpChurch was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
Deputy Bertram was assisted with the search by Deputies Jerry Coffey and Jerry Meadows.
The investigation is continuing by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
 
 
 
In an unrelated incident, Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron reports the following arrest.
 
Alisa Sanders of Monticello, KY,. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Commitment Order of Arrest for Contempt of Court for failure to comply with Drug Court.
 
Ashley A. Turner of Monticello, K,Y. was arrested on a Wayne County District Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear.
 
Sanders and Turner were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
