Several area counties unemployment rates saw an increase last month.
The Wayne County rate increased from 5.5 to 5.9 percent. McCreary County recorded the highest unemployment rate at 6.6 percent, up from 5.8 last month. Clinton County had the second highest at 6.3. Cumberland County was the lowest at 4.2 percent.
Casey County at 5.6 percent, Adair County at 5.3 percent, Russell County at 5.8, and Pulaski County at 5.2 percent.
