Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron and his staff would like to announce the addition to the Sheriff’s Office new K-9 Unit Deputy Chaos.
Deputy Chaos is a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois breed that is certified in multiple illegal narcotic detections, human tracking/searching and in apprehension. Chaos is assigned to Deputy Zachary Bybee. Deputy Bybee is now in training to become a Certified K-9 Handler for Chaos with his certification completed within the next couple of weeks. After that both K-9 Deputy Chaos and Deputy Bybee will begin there patrol together with their main focus being on illegal narcotic activity. Both Deputies Chaos and Bybee will also take part in the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Dare Program being taught in our local school system by Deputy Tommy Spencer throughout the school year.

Deputies Bybee with K-9 Chaos are excited and looking forward to start serving the citizens of Wayne County.
