Joseph McDermott, 39, of Monticello, was arrested at 3:35 p.m. during a traffic stop on South 1st Street after the truck he was operating was clocked at 74 m.p.h. on the KY 90 bypass. McDermott was charged with No Operators License, Speeding 19 mph over the posted limit, Fleeing or Evading Police and Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. He was also served with a Clinton Circuit Court Indictment for Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition.
Tyehe Bordeaux, 31, of Monticello, was arrested at 5:35 p.m. in Homestead Heights after police responded to a domestic dispute. Bordeaux was charged with Assault 4th Degree (domestic violence, minor injury), Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct.
Keith Duncan, 52, of Monticello, was arrested at 8:45 p.m. during a traffic stop on Damron Drive after the vehicle he was operating was observed running a red light. During the roadside investigation, Officer Casey Lang deployed K-9 BAK who alerted to the odor of controlled substance(s) emitting from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of two items of drug paraphernalia with a white powdery residue. Duncan was charged with Disregarding a Traffic Control Device, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
McDermott, Bordeaux and Duncan were arrested by Officer Casey Lang and lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center
