Monticello, KY – January 28, 2025 – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 11 is excited to announce the 2025 Trooper Jason Vanhook Memorial Bass Tournament, set for Saturday, April 26, 2025. This annual event honors the memory of Trooper Jason Vanhook, a dedicated member of the KSP family, and supports a great cause—the KSP Trooper Island Camp.
The tournament will take place at Conley Bottom Resort, located in Monticello, KY. Anglers from across the region are invited to join the competition, with an entry fee of $100 per boat. The final weigh-in will take place at 4:00 PM at Conley Bottom Resort, where the day’s catch will be evaluated, and winners will be crowned.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the KSP Trooper Island Camp, an invaluable program that offers summer camp experiences to children across Kentucky. By participating in this tournament, anglers will be directly contributing to the future of young campers and helping carry on Trooper Vanhook’s legacy.
