On Jan 24, 2025, the Contented Heart Quilt Guide honored our National Guard, 623 Battalion B, with a quilt. We watched them deploy 1on 2/9/2023 for a 2-year deployment. They were blessed to come home after about 10 months on Oct 24.
The guild thought we had 2 years to make 80 quilts. Ten months really had us speeding up our plans. We did it!!
A huge Thank You to the Somerset National Guard for hosting this event. To all our military for protecting us and to their families who maintain the home front.
