Monticello Fire Department responded to two calls for service today.
#1 personnel responded to Wayne County Hospital to assist with LZ service for Air Evac Lifeteam
#2 firefighters responded to Hwy 2393 (Cumberland Ridge Road) for a motorcycle accident. Personnel assisted Wayne County EMS with patient assessment, debris/fluid removal, traffic control, and established a LZ for Air Evac Lifeteam as they flew the patient from the scene. Wayne County Sheriff’s Office investigated the accident and Wayne County EMS provided patient care for the driver.
