Lake Cumberland Primary Care and The Walk-In Clinic in cooperation with Meridzo Center Ministries is conducting a winter clothing drive to collect new and gently used winter wear for the families that were affected by the devasting floods in Eastern Kentucky. Meridzo Center Ministries, located in Lynch, KY provides help to the people living in Harlan, Letcher and Floyd counties.
Many families are still not in their homes and may be living in tents. They try to work on their homes at night after they get home from work and the temperatures are very cold at night. Our office will be collecting winter coats, hats, gloves, scarfs, thermal underwear, coveralls and new blankets. If you would like to join our staff in providing winter wear for our neighbors in Eastern Kentucky, you can bring your donation to our office. We are located at 268 Rolling Hills Blvd off of Highway 90 across from the Walmart Shopping area.
