(WKYT) – A grand jury indicted a London councilmember and his wife on six felony tax-related charges.
According to court documents, London Councilmember Judson Weaver and his wife, Kimberly Weaver, were indicted on six charges of willfully filing or making false tax returns or failure to pay taxes.
From 2020 to 2025, the indictment alleges that the pair either failed to make a return, willfully made a false return or willfully failed to pay Kentucky Individual Tax Returns for the year in order to avoid paying taxes.
Both Judson and Kimberly Weaver will appear in Franklin Circuit Court for an arraignment hearing at 9 a.m. on Nov. 20.
