Law enforcement across multiple agencies are searching for an inmate who escaped from a detention facility in Williamsburg late Sunday night.
According to local authorities, Charles Blake Randle fled the detention center located on Kentucky Highway 92 West at approximately 10:50 p.m. Police report that multiple staff members were assaulted during the incident before Randle escaped on foot into a nearby wooded area.
A multi-agency search involving the Williamsburg Police Department, the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department, and Kentucky State Police is actively underway.
