(WKYT) – Head Coach Will Stein and the Kentucky Wildcats have entered the top 25 teams in college football at No. 24 on the week four AP Poll.
This comes after a home win over South Alabama, in which three Wildcat running backs each rushed for more than 100 yards. Kentucky was previously ranked No. 27 in the poll, receiving the second-most votes among unranked teams following their big win against Texas A&M last week.
The Aggies lost in a blowout to the 11th-ranked LSU Tigers Saturday night, and now Texas A&M is no longer ranked. The full list of Top 25 teams can be found with the link to the AP Poll here.
The last time the Wildcats were ranked within the top 25 was in week seven of the 2023 season. After a 5-0 start to the season led by quarterback Will Levis.
Now Kentucky looks forward to next Saturday to continue SEC play against the South Carolina Gamecocks.
