(WKYT) — The benefit amounts for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will be updated beginning October 1 as part of the annual Cost-of-Living Adjustment.
Recipients’ household SNAP benefits may change based on household size, income and allowable expenses, according to the Kentucky Department for Community Based Services.
The department said no action is needed for the update, and advised people to continue completing regular recertification, as well as report changes when required.
