Measles cases climb higher in Kentucky outbreak

 (WKYT) – The Kentucky Department for Public Health confirmed an ongoing measles outbreak in the state. There have now been 29 measles cases throughout Kentucky in 2026.

All cases have been in people who did not have a measles vaccination, according to the KDPH.

The 2026 cases listed on the KDPH site are in the following counties:
