(WKYT) – Gov. Andy Beshear made a Facebook post addressing potential vacancy in the Senate.
Gov. Beshear says while he knows there is public concern surrounding the significance of a potential Senate vacancy on Aug. 3, the date has no legal impact on his options if there is a vacancy in 2026.
He says it is “worth a reminder” that there’s currently one less vote for the SAVE Act, the war with Iran or the potential replacement of a SCOTUS justice.
