Wayne County picked up a healthy dose of rain over the weekend, according to Kentucky Mesonet data. Friday brought 0.78 inches of rainfall, followed by a wetter Saturday with 1.19 inches. Sunday saw only a trace at 0.01 inches, bringing the three‑day total to just under 2 inches of weekend rainfall. Totals from neighboring counties include Clinton County at 0.79 inches, Pulaski County at 0.71 inches, and Russell County at 1.03 inches over the same period.
