(WKYT) – One person died in a crash in Boyle County on Tuesday, June 30.
The Boyle County Fire Department was dispatched around 3:59 p.m. for a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of Alum Springs Road and Hogue Hollow Road.
According to the fire department, emergency responders located a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle.
“Despite the immediate response of emergency personnel, the operator of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene,” the fire department said.
The occupant of the passenger vehicle was not injured, according to the fire department.
The crash remains under investigation by the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office and the Boyle County Coroner’s Office.
