(WKYT) – Two Laurel County teens were arrested on Monday in connection with a May burglary.
The teens, both age 15, were identified as persons of interest in a burglary that took place at a business on East Laurel Road on May 15 after their photos were posted on the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
The two were arrested, but while being transferred from a police vehicle to the sheriff’s office, they fled into a wooded area. Both were captured 30 minutes later.
Each teen is charged with a count of third-degree burglary, a count of first-degree fleeing or evading police on foot, and a count of first-degree criminal mischief.
