When Ace Says “Helpful Hardware Folks,” They Don’t Mean Helping Yourself.
The Monticello Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual pictured below.
On June 2, 2026, at approximately 2:45 AM, an unknown suspect unlawfully entered Ace Hardware in Monticello by breaking the glass to the door. Once inside the store the suspect stole merchandise from the business. Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect during the incident.
