(WKYT) – President Donald Trump has nominated businessman Nate Morris as ambassador to Colombia, the White House said today.
Morris dropped out of the Kentucky Senate race early last month.
Trump said he asked Morris to step aside from the race and take on a role within his administration.
The nomination will now be sent to the Senate.
