(WKYT) – The teen indicted in the deadly Berea bank shooting will appear in federal court on Wednesday.
Brailen Weaven, 18, is scheduled to be arraigned in Lexington at 1:30 p.m.

He is charged with one count of attempted armed bank robbery and two counts of causing death with a firearm in the course of a crime of violence.
A motion was also entered today by the United States Attorney’s Office to postpone any pre-trial discussion, including setting a trial date, until the U.S. Department of Justice debates on whether to pursue the death penalty.
The motion notes that this is a complex case involving large amounts of discovery, many search warrants, and at least 30 witnesses.
