(WKYT) – Police in Laurel County are warning against fake traffic court summons scams.
Both phone scams and fake documents made to look official are part of these scams, which are attempting to gain private information and money according to the sheriff’s department.
Police advise people not to answer unknown numbers, click strange links, send money, or give out personal information.
