(WKYT) – A man has been arrested after allegedly threatening someone with a gun this morning in Danville.
Danville Police told WKYT they were dispatched to an apartment complex across from Danville High School on Lexington Avenue regarding an argument between tenants.
On the scene, police learned that 34-year-old John Mason pointed a gun at the person he was arguing with, but no shots were fired.
Police found Mason in his residence and were able to locate the gun, a .22 caliber handgun.
The incident was confined to the complex, and there was no threat to the public at any time, according to police.
Mason was arrested and booked in the Boyle County Detention Center. He is charged with 1st degree wanton endangerment, tampering with physical and 1st degree disorderly conduct.
No bond or court date has been set for Mason as of Wednesday evening.
