Kentucky women add Alabama transfer guard Diana Collins to roster

(WKYT) – Kentucky women’s basketball added another piece for next season, landing Alabama transfer guard Diana Collins according to Talia Goodman of On3.

Collins began her career at Ohio State before transferring to Alabama. The 5-foot-9 senior averaged 8.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists last season for the Crimson Tide, shooting 38.9% from 3-point range while starting all 35 games. She scored 16 points against Kentucky on Jan. 8 in Alabama’s 64-51 win.

Coach Kenny Brooks continues to reshape the Wildcats’ roster, and Collins brings SEC experience to a backcourt that already includes three incoming McDonald’s All-American guards.
