(WKYT) – Kentucky will face Penn State on Sept. 6 at Wrigley Field in the first volleyball match at the venue as part of the inaugural SEC/Big Ten Volleyball Challenge.
The match will air on FOX with a start time of either 7 p.m. or 9 p.m. ET. Nebraska will play Missouri in the other featured match at Wrigley Field. Start times for both matches will be confirmed later.
The Chicago Cubs are hosting the event. Public ticket sales begin April 9 at 11 a.m. ET at Cubs.com/BigTenVolleyball.
All 18 Big Ten institutions and 16 from the Southeastern Conference are participating in the challenge. Matches will be played the week of Sept. 1, with the event concluding Labor Day weekend in Chicago.
Kentucky will host UCLA on Sept. 2 at Historic Memorial Coliseum in its first match of the SEC/Big Ten Challenge. The Wildcats defeated the Bruins 3-1 in the NCAA Tournament second round in 2025 to advance to the Sweet 16.
All matches of the SEC/Big Ten Challenge will be televised or stream live on FOX, an ESPN network, FS1, SEC Network, Big Ten Network, B1G+ or SEC Network+.
