Sheriff Bobby Jones reports that Brandon A. Mullins, 28, has pled guilty to two counts of murder.
Mullins appeared with his attorneys in Pulaski Circuit Court on March 18th and pled guilty to the murders of his uncle, Anthony Mullins, and his father, Dennis Mullins.
The murders occurred on or about May 24, 2024 in the Eubank area of Pulaski County. On May 25, 2024, Anthony Mullins and Dennis Mullins were found deceased in their home from gunshot wounds. Sheriff Bobby Jones, who was on the scene in Eubank, contacted the Sheriff’s Office’s Criminal Investigation Division who responded and began an investigation into the murders.
Detective Jay Picard was assigned the investigation. Through information and evidence he had collected at the scene and elsewhere, Detective Picard secured an arrest warrant for Brandon Mullins, charging him with two counts of murder. Mullins was arrested on May 26, 2024 on the arrest warrant.
On August 7, 2024, Detective Picard presented the case to the Pulaski Grand Jury, who returned an indictment charging Brandon Mullins with two counts of Murder and one count of Tampering with Physical Evidence. The indictment warrant was served on Mullins, who was still in jail at that time on Detective Picard’s arrest warrant.
Formal sentencing for Mullins is scheduled for April 6th in Pulaski Circuit Court.
