The Wayne County Fiscal Court met Thursday evening for their regular monthly session.
The court agreed to table the purchase of a storage building to be located at the Wayne County EMS facility. The Court had allotted $60,000 for the purchase, however only one bid was received and that totaled. $138,094.
2025 Excess fees for the Sheriff’s & County Clerk’s office were presented. The Excess fees for the Sheriff’s Department totaled $9,043, while excess fees for the Clerk’s office were $243,155.
The Court approved to allocate $2,900 to the sheriff’s department for vehicle equipment.
