According to Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron a dispatched call of a vehicle reckless driving (doing donuts) has resulted in a Monticello man being arrested on multiple charges.
At approximately 9:35 pm, on February 10, 2026, Wayne County Sheriff Office Deputy Casey Lang was dispatched by the Wayne County 911 Dispatch Center to Pond Road for the complaint. When Deputy Lang arrived on scene he observed an vehicle in a field doing donuts. Deputy Lang then pulled off the roadway in the edge of the field and activated his emergency lights. The vehicle then proceeded to flee across the filed away from Deputy Lang when it ran into a ditch causing it to be inoperable. Deputy Lang then made contact with the driver and had the male driver to exit the vehicle to address the situation. Deputy Lang detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the male with an open whiskey bottle laying in plain view inside the vehicle. The driver was then asked to submit to field sobriety tests. The driver agreed and failed all of the field sobriety test that was administered to him.
Deputy Lang then charged and arrested Casey Foster of Monticello, KY. for criminal trespassing-2nd degree, fleeing or evading Police-2nd degree (motor vehicle), no operator’s license, reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol-3rd offense (aggravating circumstances) and possession of an alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle. While lodging Foster at the Wayne County Detention Center Deputy Lang administer a test of Foster’s breath with the test showing a result of approximately 2 and ½ times the legal limit of an alcohol concentration.

Charish Gronbach of Somerset, KY. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to comply with child support orders.
Isaac Spradlin of Monticello, KY. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear for a Show Cause Hearing.
Timothy Brown of Kingston Springs, TN. Was arrested on a Wayne County District Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear for a Pre-Trial Conference on the underlying charges of failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance and careless driving.
Gronbach and Spradlin were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center. Brown was released from custody after posting a Bond.
