Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron and his staff would like to welcome Bruce Blevins to the Sheriff Office. Bruce was sworn in by Wayne County Judge Executive Scott Gehring today December 1, 2025. Deputy Blevins will be assigned to the Wayne County Middle School as a School Resource Deputy. Deputy Blevins has over 23 years for law enforcement experience as a Certified Peace Officer including 2 years as a School Resource Deputy. During the period when the school system is not in session Deputy Blevins will work as a regular Deputy Sheriff.Deputy Blevins comes very highly recommended and will be a great asset to the Wayne County School System and the Wayne County Sheriff Office.
