After issuing a letter of intent to file last week, the current WC School Athletic Director, Kevin Jones has officially filed paperwork in Frankfort for state representative of the 52nd district.
The filing comes as current state representative, Ken Upchurch announced last month that he would not be seeking re-election in 2026. Candidates have into the month of January to file for a position on the May primary Ballot.
