Provalus begins training local Workers

UPDATE: Provalus has began training the first round of employees for Monticello.  For the time being they’re using the former Senture building on Hwy. 90

 

Provalus, a division of Optomi LLC, is establishing a new operation in Monticello, KentuckyThis will be their first location in the state. The company is investing $3 million and creating 200 full-time jobs, making it the largest job-creation investment in Wayne County since 2010. The new facility, a 30,000-square-foot leased space, will focus on providing technology, business, and support services, including cybersecurity, network operations, and more. 

The new operation in Monticello is part of Provalus’s broader mission to create opportunities in rural America and will be located in a leased facility. The facility is expected to be ready for occupancy by the end of 2024. Provalus is actively recruiting for entry-level positions, particularly in customer experience, and offers training programs like the Tech Foundry, according to their job postings. 

The Monticello-Wayne County Industrial Authority and local officials have expressed enthusiasm about the project, highlighting the economic impact and opportunities it will bring to the community. The Monticello Mayor Kenneth Catron Jr. said: “To have Provalus located here in Monticello is a sign of the growth and prosperity we are experiencing in our community, and this endeavor will be a massive component in the future success of our region.”
