As you know, our neighbors in Somerset and London were hit hard by a
devastating tornado Friday night.
The damage and their loss seems surreal.
The City of Monticello, the Monticello Police Department, the Monticello
Fire Department and your Monticello Walmart are partnering and will be
staging a disaster relief effort in front of Walmart from Monday afternoon
thru Tuesday evening with all supplies donated to be delivered Wednesday
morning, May 21st.
Please help if you can.
Dozens, if not hundreds, of families have lost everything and are in need of
basic necessities.
Items needed include
Toilet Paper & Paper Towels
Bath Towels & wash cloths
Nails & screws
Trash Bags
non-Perishable Food items
Tarps & Plastic Wrap
New socks & under wear
Dog & cat food
Diapers, WiPeS, Baby Food
First Aid / Medical supplies
All types of Personal hygiene items for women and men
New Shoes
good work gloves
Batteries flash lights Lanterns
Hair Brushes & Hair Bows
And anything else you can think of. The things we take for granted every
single day and now needed by so many.
