Monticello Police Report Recent Arrests

Leah Carrender, 59, was arrested Thursday, May 15th at 7:12 p.m. at 5 Below in Cumberland Crossing by Sgt. Josh Smith. Carrender was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking (shoplifting) and was also served with two warrants for failure to appear in Wayne District Court.
John Catron, 45, was arrested Friday, May 16th at 4:45 p.m. on South Main Street by Sgt. Josh Smith and Officer Jason Guffey. Catron was taken into custody on a Wayne Circuit Court warrant for Probation Violation.
Adam Brian Hatfield, 41, was arrested Friday, May 16th at 6:00 p.m. at Walmart for Theft by Unlawful Taking (shoplifting). Hatfield was taken into custody by Sgt. Josh Smith and Officer Jason Guffey.
Patrick Taylor, 42, was arrested Friday, May 16th at 8:00 p.m. in the Walmart Plaza by Officer Jason Guffey and Sgt. Josh Smith. Taylor was taken into custody on a warrant from Wayne District Court charging him with Criminal Mischief 1st Degree.
Brian Leffew, 39, was arrested Friday evening, May 16th on West Columbia Avenue by Officer Brandon Bertram. Leffew was served with a Wayne District Court warrant for non-payment of court costs, fees fines.
Michael Johnson, 24, was arrested Saturday, May 17th at 4:35 a.m. on KY 92 East-Michigan Avenue by Officer Brandon Bertram. Johnson was charged with DUI after the truck he was operating struck a utility pole.
Kevin Glass, 25, was arrested Saturday, May 17th at 2:58 p.m. at an apartment complex on North Main Street by Major Josh Asberry and Sgt. Josh Smith. Glass was charged with two counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree after allegedly pointing a firearm at two men.
All individuals were processed and lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
