Monticello Fire Department responded to three calls for service today.
#1 members responded to Wayne County Hospital for LZ service.
#2 The department was requested by Monticello Wayne County 911 to investigate an open burn complaint.
#3 Firefighters responded to a non-injury accident on East Highway 90 due to the roadway being covered with debris. Kentucky Transportation Department responded with a sweeper to assist in removing the large amount of gravel from the roadway.
