Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron reports the following arrests.
Michael Phillips of Monticello, KY. was arrested on 2 Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrants of Arrest for trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine), trafficking in a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine),operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/controlled substance (4th or greater offense), operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, failure to register transfer of a motor vehicle, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, no registration plates and 2 counts of persistent felony offender-1st degree.
Walter Moore of Monticello, KY. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear for a child support hearing.
Jody Towery of Monticello, KY. was arrested on a Wayne County District Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to pay or show cause on the underlying charge of unlawful transaction with a minor. Towery was also served with 3 Wayne County District Court Criminal Complaint Summons on the underlying charges of unlawful transaction with a minor and harboring a vicious animal.
