The Monticello Fire Department, Wayne County EMS, Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Wayne County Coroner’s Office, and Wayne County Rescue Squad were called out on E Highway 92 at Johnson Fork Road yesterday afternoon around 2:30 for a single vehicle fatality accident. The Coroner’s Office pronounced 28-year-old Dakota Barrier deceased at the scene. No other details into the crash have been released.
E Highway 92 was closed for a couple of hours as traffic was routed through Canada Creek Road.
