8/8/2024 Run Report
Monticello Fire Department was dispatched for 4 calls for service this afternoon and evening.
1) at around 3:30 PM fire personnel were requested to standby at Wayne County Hospital for a air medical flight from the ER.
2) at 8:27 pm the fire department responded to a motor vehicle incident on Highway 776. Personnel assisted with traffic control and removed fluids from the roadway.
3) at 9:46 PM firefighters responded to a report of an injury accident on Surrey Hill Road. Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and Wayne County EMS responded to the scene as well. EMS assessed one person while the fire department made sure that there were no debris at the crash site at another location.
4) At 12:55 AM 8/9/24 fire personnel were out at Wayne County Hospital helipad for a patient transfer from Wayne County EMS to Air Evac Lifeteam
