(WYMT) – The case against a man arrested after explosives were found inside a home has moved to federal court.
Robert Thomas Smith was federally indicted on two counts of knowingly possessing an unregistered “firearm” or destructive device, according to authorities.
Previous coverage
The incident happened in September in Johnson County when first responders were called to a home for a domestic disturbance. Once there, they found what appeared to be a booby-trapped property along with several explosive devices.
