Ms. Linda Donita (Hitchcock) Jasper Crouthers, of Cincinnati, Ohio, a native of the Mt. Zion community in Pulaski County, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, having attained the age of 78 years, 3 months, and 2 days. She was born on Sunday, June 20, 1948, in the Mt. Zion Community of Pulaski County, Kentucky, the daughter of Isaiah Alfred “Ike” & Dorothy Myrtle (Adams) Hitchcock.
She was a Christian, grew up attending Centerpost Methodist Church, later became a member of Duke Memorial Baptist Church in Somerset and in 2023 became a member of Monterey Baptist Church in Batavia, Ohio, Graduated from Pulaski County High School class of 1966. She enjoyed crocheting and loved to go out to eat and loved her family dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Jasper; sisters, Pauline Curry & Phyllis (& Willard) Jasper; brother, Boyce Wayne Dick; great nephew, Steven Wesley; Maternal grandparents, Ansel & Nora Belle (Vaught) Adams; Paternal Grandparents, James F. & Mary Ethel (Wesley) Hitchcock.
She is survived by her daughters, Marceda Jeanette Jasper (& Jeff) Elam of Batavia, Ohio, Peggy Lee Jasper Ward (& Allen Prince) of Stout, Ohio, Pamela Marie Jasper (& Tim) Tucker of Mt. Orab, Ohio; Sister, Dixie Lee Dalton Phelps of Mt. Healthy, Ohio; Grandchildren, Maranda (& Trevin) Newberry, Amber Cartone, Jeffrey (& Amy) Elam, Brandon Schauer, Maria (& Stephen) Simpson, Brittany (& Zach) Hambrick, Nathan Schauer, Virginia (& Nathan) Patrick, Sarah (& Carey) Jones, Nicholas Keoler, Dylan Pringle, Emily Pringle, & Brianna Pringle; Great-Grandchildren, Elijah, Jenna, & Jaxon Newberry, Sophia, Christian, & Josie Cartone, Bennett, Jasper & Lila Elam, Riley, Gracelynn, Samuel, & Madelynn Simpson, Kaylee Flowers, Dean Hambrick, Callan Patrick, Brinlee, Xaine, Xion & Xylei Jones; Nieces & Nephews, David, Nancy, Steven, Justin, Katie, Alisa, Michelle & Brian;

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. EST in the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill, Kentucky, with burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2026 at Morris & Hislope, and from 9:00 a.m. to the funeral hour on Saturday.
