Russell Springs Man Found Guilty of Using Electronic Means to Induce a Minor

A Russell Circuit Court jury found 35-year-old Zachary Grider of Russell Springs guilty of using electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual activity, which is a Class C felony. Following a two-day trial, the jury deliberated for under 30 minutes before returning the guilty verdict and later recommended a sentence of seven-and-a-half years in prison. Grider was initially arrested by the Kentucky State Police in December 2024 and indicted by a grand jury in April 2025. Following the trial, he was remanded into custody, with formal sentencing scheduled for November 24 before Circuit Judge Sara Beth Gregory.
