(WBKO/WKYT) – A $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at a Kentucky Lottery retail partner from the Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026, drawing.
The ticket, which matched four white balls and the Powerball, was sold at Smoker Friendly Discount Tobacco, 311 S. First St., LaGrange, Ky., 40031, according to a media release. The winning numbers from the Aug. 29th Powerball drawing were: 18 – 56 – 62 – 65 – 67 – Powerball 18.
The Kentucky Lottery advises winners of physical lottery tickets to sign the back and keep tickets in a secure location. Lottery prizes can be claimed at Kentucky Lottery headquarters – 1011 W. Main St. in Louisville.
The current Powerball jackpot is estimated at $131 million. The next drawing will take place Monday, Aug. 31, 2026, at 11 p.m. EST, according to the media release. The Power Play 10X multiplier is available for play since the advertised jackpot is below $150 million. Power Play is a $1 add-on per play to the game.
The current jackpot run of seven draws has produced four $50,000 second-tier prizes in Kentucky:
- Aug. 19: $50,000 wins in Paris (claimed) and Florence.
- Aug. 24: $50,000 win in Hopkinsville.
- Aug. 29: $50,000 win in La Grange.
Two $50,000 winning Powerball tickets from drawings in March are still unclaimed and expire in September.
- A $50,000 Powerball ticket sold at Casey’s General Store, 315 South Main St., Franklin, Ky. 42134 on March 14, 2026. Ticket expires Sept. 10.
- A $50,000 Powerball ticket sold at Circle K, 2175 Russellville Rd., Hopkinsville, Ky. 42240 on March 21, 2026. Ticket expires Sept. 17.
There is an unclaimed $50,000 winning Powerball ticket purchased online at kylottery.com from the Saturday, July 25, 2026, drawing, according to the media release. Winners have 180 days to claim their prize.
The Kentucky Lottery offers its games online and at 3,500 retailers across the state. It is the first lottery in the nation to offer the feature called “Connected Play” allowing online winners to use its mobile app to purchase lottery games at retail with funds in the players Fun Club wallet.
