(WKYT) – A garbage truck caught fire on Monday in Rockcastle County.
According to the Brindle Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, the garbage truck was aflame on North Wilderness Road in front of Roundstone Elementary School.
The Mount Vernon Fire Department provided water assistance, and approximately 750 gallons of water was used to extinguish the fire.
The fire did not spread to the contents of the garbage bed.
