(WKYT) – Spectrum and the University of Kentucky announced on Friday that the two have entered into a multi-year agreement regarding the naming rights of the university’s downtown studio.
The now-named Spectrum Studio is a 20,000-square-foot space that features podcast and broadcast studios, control rooms, a newsroom and classrooms.
It serves as the primary production hub for UK Athletics and the College of Communication and Information.
UK said that the studio provides hands-on learning for journalism students and allows student-athletes to use professional-grade tools to create personal brand items.
As part of the partnership, Spectrum will support NIL opportunities for UK student-athletes through commercials, appearances and social media features.
